2008 AILA Victoria Project Awards
Coomes Consulting Group is pleased to announce its success at the 2008 Australian Institute of Landscape Architects Victoria Project Awards.
Announced in Melbourne on Friday 14 November, Coomes received two awards for Victorian College of the Arts VCA Stage 1, St Kilda Road Frontage.
Coomes received the ‘Design Award in Landscape Architecture’ and the ‘President’s Award for Water Sensitive Urban Design’.
In conjunction with Melbourne Water, Coomes’ Landscape Architecture and Engineering Divisions have successfully represented a progressive approach to water sensitive urban design.
The AILA Awards ‘aim to foster recognition of the profession of landscape architecture, encourage excellence and provide public acknowledgement of the valuable contributions made by the profession to the improvement of our natural and built environments’.
